In today’s economic environment government agencies and corporations alike are being asked to do more with less. At the same time, mobile workforces, collaborative relationships, regulatory requirements, and threats to information security are challenging organizations to better protect enterprise content and simplify how it can be shared. Effective Enterprise Content Management (ECM) is the key for many IT organizations. In this session participants will learn the three C’s of ECM:

> How to reduce the cost of compliance with internal policies and external regulations through comprehensive document classification and search, and retention and expiration rules

> How to achieve effective collaboration within and across departments, agencies, enterprises, and third-party organizations with web-enabled services, integrated workflow, and records management

> How to control security and risk while allowing access to information through document-level access management and secure file links

The session will also include guidelines to help organizations identify ECM technologies that address the resource constraints most organizations face today.
