Organizational governance is at the crossroads of people, process, and technology and is increasingly difficult due to the complexity of building shared knowledge and understanding, and ensuring these are accurate and trustworthy of an agency’s varied teams, business processes, and technical tools. This session will describe the mechanisms for governance, with special emphasis on enterprise semantics, and how its techniques can be used in conjunction with KM to build a strong near-term governance framework for agencies, as well as present a metrics framework around which to implement KM.
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:
> The importance of organizational governance and how it interacts with KM
> The use of semantics as a tool for enterprise governance
> Which KM metrics are most important for governance and how to use them
