The technology factor in KM is constantly being enriched with new and improved tools that allow us to do things we had never been able to do before, or to improve on the ways we do things now by performing better, cheaper, faster. This session brings together several examples of such KM tools in the areas of lessons learned, multilingual KM, visualization and automated redaction.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

> How to use animation and graphics to illustrate highly technical concepts

> How to transfer legacy knowledge to today's generation

> How to engage multiligual audiences using social media

> Knowing when to add multilingual capabilities

> Understanding real-time translation options for KM

> Balancing openness and security through a formal redaction policy linked to regulations

> How automatic semantic information extraction can help to achieve compliance
