Annie Williams

VP, Federal Sales


Annie Williams joined Terremark's Federal Group in the summer of 2008 after spending nearly eleven years at Cisco Systems. During her tenure at Cisco, she was an individual contributor on the federal sales team responsible for The Federal Reserve System and The ExecutiveOffice of the President. She later moved into Strategic Account Management leading Cisco's capture effort in support of several key strategic initiatives, and was instrumental in the creation of a formal Business Development program. Prior to Cisco, Annie worked for EMC Federal, 3Comm Federal and Digital Equipment Corp. With over twenty seven years of sales achievement, the majority of Annie's experience has been in the federal market where she has cultivated an extensive network of past performance and committed professional relationships. In her executive capacity at Terremark, Annie was responsible for establishing Terremark's Civilian practice including the creation of a sales team and developing the partner strategy as well as active participation in driving Terremark's overall federal business plan for the expansion of the National Capital Region, NCR, and for federalizing the full suite of hosting, datacenter and proserve product sets. She now leads the entire federal sales team including DOD and Intel. Annie received her Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Marketing from Northwestern University and has various Cisco sales certifications. Annie is an active member of ACT/lAC and has held various positions on the ELC Planning Committee as well as having participated in the ACT/lAC Partners Program Class of 2006. Annie lives on a working farm in Culpeper County, Virginia and is active on several local community Boards and Foundations.
