Tim Harder joined EMC ten years ago as the Global Principal Architect for Network Attached Storage. Initial responsibilities included analysis of the emerging opportunity, education for EMC teams and extensive partner training. During his tenure with EMC, Tim has enjoyed a wide range of individual contributor and senior leadership roles. He has led material size campaigns for EMC in more than 30 different countries. His core technical competencies in high performance compute and multi-protocol file systems have provided an opportunity to work with most of the firms listed on Forbes Global 2000 and nearly every Fortune 500 firm. Tim has been a featured lecturer at the PDVSA-EPM Forum, Network Storage Road Show, PM-NSC, and at highly visible organizations in the Oil/Gas + Government Community. Tim has been awarded the EMC Rockstar of the Year, Platinum Player and Club 101 designations. Prior to joining EMC, Mr. Harder held the position of Managing Consultant for a sizeable PC manufacturer where he was responsible for the build-out and daily operations of the Professional Services line of business. Previous experience includes Analyst and IT Director positions in the field of RFID. Tim’s undergraduate degree work in Economics was at Harvard; he additionally holds advanced certificates in foreign language. Tim currently is leading the business development efforts for EMC Cloud Computing in the national public sector.
